A Group Joining Safari is a shared safari experience where individual travelers, couples, friends, or small groups travel together in the same 4×4 safari vehicle. It’s an excellent way to enjoy Tanzania’s world-famous national parks while sharing transportation costs with other travelers. At Vision Safari & Tours, our group safaris are carefully organized to provide an enjoyable, comfortable, and well-managed experience – while maintaining the same professional guiding standards as our private safaris.
Group size, capped on purpose.
Our safari vehicles accommodate a maximum of 6-7 guests, depending on the vehicle configuration. We intentionally limit the number of travelers to ensure everyone has enough space and enjoys a comfortable game-viewing experience.
Every seat is a window seat.
Yes – every guest is guaranteed one. Our safari vehicles are designed so that every traveler has direct access to a window, allowing unobstructed wildlife viewing and photography throughout the safari.
The vehicle.
Your safari runs in a professional 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for game viewing, large windows for photography, comfortable individual seats, a professional English-speaking safari guide, a cooler with drinking water, and charging facilities where available.
Accommodation stays private.
Although guests travel together during the safari, each booking receives its own accommodation. Couples stay in their own private room or tent, families stay together according to their booking, and solo travelers receive accommodation based on the package booked – a private room or single supplement where applicable. You are not required to share a room with strangers unless you specifically choose a shared accommodation option. Depending on the itinerary, this can mean budget camping, public campsites, budget lodges, mid-range lodges or tented camps; sometimes everyone stays at the same property, and sometimes travelers stay at different nearby properties depending on the package each guest has booked. Either way, all guests travel together on the daily game drives.
Pick-up and drop-off, wherever you’re staying.
We provide hotel pick-up and drop-off within Arusha. Guests joining the same safari may be collected from different hotels before departing for the national parks, and at the end of the safari, each guest is dropped off at their own accommodation.
Daily departures, your choice of date.
Our Northern Circuit Group Joining Safaris run daily, subject to minimum booking requirements and availability – giving you the flexibility to pick the departure date that fits your travel plans.
