This is Uganda without compromise: the source of the Nile at Jinja, a coffee-country trek at Sipi Falls, the wild, rarely-visited plains of Kidepo Valley National Park on the South Sudan border, Murchison Falls' game drives and Nile boat cruise, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, Queen Elizabeth's big game and Kazinga Channel cruise, and mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi — nineteen days covering ground almost no other single itinerary attempts.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything travellers usually ask before booking this safari.

Is this itinerary too long?

It's genuinely a full expedition rather than a typical holiday — built for travellers who want to see the whole of Uganda in one trip. We can also break it into two shorter itineraries (northern circuit and southern/primate circuit) if 19 days isn't realistic for your schedule.

Can this be done partly by domestic flight to cut driving time?

Yes — domestic flights between Kidepo, Murchison Falls and the southern parks can replace several long drive days for an additional cost; ask us for a fly-in version of this itinerary.

Why include Kidepo Valley when it adds long drive days?

Kidepo is one of Africa's most rewarding and least-crowded parks, and this is the only itinerary on our site that reaches it — the extra travel time is the honest trade-off for genuinely remote wilderness.
