Drift silently above the Serengeti at sunrise, then land to a champagne toast and a full bush breakfast — a once-in-a-lifetime way to see the plains from above.
A hot air balloon safari is one of the most memorable ways to experience the Serengeti — floating at 3,000+ feet over open plains with no roads or fences, watching wildlife (and often the Great Migration) from a perspective almost no other safari activity offers. We work with Tanzania's most reputable balloon operators, based inside the parks, so booking through us means priority access and seamless logistics from your lodge to the launch site and back.
Pickup from your lodge or camp and drive in darkness to the balloon launch site — you may spot nocturnal animals still on the move.
Safety briefing from your pilot as the balloon inflates with golden flames against the morning sky.
Take flight — soar above wildlife, treetops and riverbanks as the Serengeti comes to life below.
A traditional champagne toast marks your flight — a ballooning tradition.
A gourmet bush breakfast — white linen tables, fresh bread, tropical fruit and hot eggs under a shady acacia tree.
Short, self-contained experiences that pair well with any safari or climb.
